I got news for you friends.

For the last year you’ve been quite amazing; leaving comments on the blog, sending encouraging emails, loving tweets and whatnot. This is why I wanted to share this with you before anyone else. This bloggy home of mine will go under a few changes and will be something a bit different in the new year. The art will continue to flow – and so will other things: food, fashion and culture.

I love sharing artful finds with you, but I always find myself wanting to share something crazy good (a recipe, a store, an outfit) but that doesn’t really fit the blog right now. Coming January, The Artful Desperado will have all of these great topics as part of the new lifestyle approach.

One of the BIG changes will be the email subscriptions – which so far have been handled by a handy robot. As of TODAY no more daily emails will be sent to the subscribers, to be honest it was looking a bit spammy – getting emails everyday with art finds could be cool or it could also be annoying and make you hit the much-dreaded “unsubscribe” button. With the new blog layout you will be able to subscribe to a new club that will receive emails here and there (no more than once every other week) with stuff eye-catching images and other cool finds. Maybe even some gifts :)

If you wish to still receive daily notifications, you can instead use the RSS feed. As soon as the other changes take place I’ll let you know fo sho.

I hope you’ll be as excited as I am to see the new content, to refresh your eyes with new ideas and to be part of a more artful way of living – filled with delicious food, stunning fashion, inspiring art and culture.
