So the polar vortex has been dicking around with the weather in Easter Canada and the US, freezing everything in its path (like that movie the day after tomorrow, so crazy!). But not everyone has been hit hard with winter fuckery like our friends out East have. Luckily some areas in the world have had snow that’s actually quite enjoyable, like in Berlin.
These photos taken by Matthias Heiderich titled Snow Blind are absolutely dreamy..and creamy. The tones, the hues, the textures; oh so smooth babeyyy. I kinda thought they were paintings, but turns out they are actual photos of Berlin covered in a romantic blanket of snow. Everything is always better in Europe, god damn it. Even their fucking snow is cool and artsy, like, how? Here in Vancouver whenever we get a bit of snow we gotta rush out and take photos because it’ll melt and become a sloppy, dirty, salty mess. Kinda like you after a night out in town (ha! just kiddin).
If you want to drool and sooth your eyes with more beautiful imagery from mr. Heiderich, visit his Behance portfolio which is FULL of angel-wing soft photos.
Wishing you all a warm – and not so icy and cray cray – weekend!

Another member of the Matthias Heiderich Fan Club right here! Love his work and this series especially, just included one from the series in a little winter round up a few days ago. He really captures the softness of a world covered in snow.
