Let us end the week with these beautiful illustrations by Katherine Tromas. This week was a bit stressful to say the least, so I really need to recover and recharge my batteries. I find the colors in these illustrations to be extremely soothing, which is exactly what I’m craving – a bit of peace and calm within myself (don’t worry, I won’t take you down debbie downer lane…at least not today).
When life throws you a curveball, how do you deal with it? Do you distract yourself with lots of activities? Or do you unplug for a while?
Happy weekend, amigos! Lots of love. Gab.

I am the Queen of taking on too much with very little buffer so if things go sideways even a little, it’s big.
What do I do? Besides a bit of insomnia, you mean? Get outside. Move. Something that distracts and gets me out of my head.
If it is about too many commitments, I try and take a few little steps to getting organized or getting a bit closer to being finished. If it is something that has gone sideways, I call in my pals who are great at reminding me of past successes.
Cookies are good too…
Gabriel says
Getting outside and moving seems to be the best. Fresh always helps calm the mind, no? And totally agree: cookies are the universal remedy for soul ailments haha.
