It ain’t real brunch until the waffles show up, yes? Yes.
I made this new recipe for the peeps of La Crema Wines and let me tell ya, we ate it on set right after we were done shooting it. It’s meant to be for brunch, but, having breakfast for dinner is one of my faves, especially when you want something comforting but not super heavy.
This recipe uses a green salsa for the huevos rancheros which makes it lighter, the crisp taste of the salsa mixed with the crunchy texture of the waffles is a winning combo! I paired up this brunchy recipe with La Crema’s Monterey Chardonnay which is really light and citrusy. Grab a glass vino, get your waffle maker out and make this recipe this weekend!
