Oh Spain, as per usual, you make me dream in technicolor. This series of geometric wooden sculptures titled Equilibrio Fragil y Simetrico II (try saying that with a mouth full of crackers) by Spanish artist Cristian Montesinos is buenisima!
The series is divided in two parts: the first one is full of drawings that served as a prototype for the second part, the real wooden sculptures. Most of the pieces use wood that was found or upcycled from previous projects. So cleva! (and a nice touch of “crafty” without being actually glue-gun-crafty).
For some reason, the colours and textures make me crave of summer like Solange craves to beat up Jay Z in an elevator – that hard!
